Josh Sayles

Vice President, External Affairs, Greater Miami Jewish Federation

Josh Sayles serves as the Vice President of External Affairs for the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, leading their Jewish Community Relations Council since October 2020. In this role he advocates for policies and funding critical to the Miami Jewish community, with a specific focus on combating antisemitism and supporting Israel. He also builds broad coalitions with diverse community partners to address local issues and strengthen Miami Dade as a whole.

Prior to Josh’s role in Miami, he served as Director of Community Relations for the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, where notably he served on their crisis management team in response to the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue. He has extensive professional experience in the Jewish community, having worked previously as Assistant Director for the Anti-Defamation League’s Connecticut office and as a Staff Writer for the Jewish News of Greater Phoenix.
