Dr. Anna Hartman is a Program Officer for Jewish and Israel Giving at Crown Family Philanthropies, where she focuses on Israel education, spirituality, arts and culture, early-stage families, and innovation. Together with colleagues at Crown and the Jewish United Fund, she focuses on dreaming big dreams for Jewish Chicago.

Before coming to Crown, Anna was a passionate, award-winning leader in Jewish education. An advocate for Jewish experiences that are playful, content-rich, and brimming with positive relationships, she leveraged creativity, boldness, and tenacity to forge meaningful change across sectors for 20 years.

Despite 14 years living in cold climates, as a native Atlantan, Anna will always be a southerner at heart. Scratch the surface of this Chicagoan and you will find a warm-hearted, chatty dog-lover eager to chat you up in the grocery store.
