Andrea Fleishaker
Deputy Director of the Jewish Life Department, UJA-Federation of New York
Andrea Fleishaker is Deputy Director of the Jewish Life Department at UJA-Federation of New York, a planning and allocations team dedicated to advancing Jewish education and engagement. She oversees both local New York initiatives and global programs.
Her career spans leadership in Jewish education and community programming. Prior to joining UJA-Federation, Andrea was Education Director at Oheb Shalom Congregation in South Orange, NJ, Program Director at Ramah Day Camp in Nyack, and earlier taught fourth-grade special education at PS 59 in Midtown Manhattan.
Andrea earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Boston University as a Presidential Scholar, and holds two Master’s degrees: one in Literacy Education from the University of Pennsylvania and another in Jewish Education from the Davidson Graduate School of Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary. A local New Yorker, Andrea currently lives in Westchester with her husband and two children.
