Roey Yessod
Founding Project Manager, Sadad Center
On October 7, Roey established a government emergency center for Arab society with his manager at the Authority for the Economic Development of Arab Society. He personally managed it until closure, coordinating with the Home Front Command, police, and Arab local authorities.
In January 2026, the State Comptroller recommended reopening the center. Sadad was founded that month as a nonprofit, with Roey selected to lead its establishment.
Roey previously served as Secretary General of Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed, a youth movement with 95,000 members; Co-CEO of Dror Educational Institutions; and Chairman and Secretary of Kibbutz Ravid. He also directed, on behalf of JDC, an emergency center supporting Ukrainians fleeing the war and arriving in Israel.
He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees and completed the Wexner Resilient Leaders Program.
Roey is a member of the Dror Israel movement and lives in Kibbutz Eshbal in northern Israel with Carmel and their two daughters.
