Mayor of Modi'in and Chairman, Federation of Local Authorities in Israel

Haim Bibas is serving his fourth term as mayor of Modi'in Maccabim Reut (since 2008), overseeing significant city growth and development, including winning the National Education Prize.He has served as the Chairman of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel since 2014, representing the interests of 259 local authorities, and was a key figure in the "Corona Cabinet" during the pandemic. At the national level, he has also served as the head of Benjamin Netanyahu's election campaign within the Likud primaries for Prime Minister.Bibas holds a BA and MA in Public Administration and is a Lieutenant Colonel in the IDF reserves.
