Lauren Steinberg
Managing Director, Campus and K-12 Engagement and Strategic Initiative, Jewish Federations of North America
Lauren Steinberg serves as Managing Director, Campus and K-12 Engagement and Strategic Initiatives for the Jewish Federation of North America. In this role she works to combat antisemitism; ensure accurate, positive education and understanding on Jews, Judaism, Israel and Zionism; build national and local relationships and coalitions; and support Federations’ broader community relations strategies and Jewish community empowerment. Lauren also regularly engages with students on campus as part of the JLIC program in partnership with the Orthodox Union and Hillel at Yale University, where she and her husband have served as the rabbinic couple since 2018. She previously served as director of the Stamford, New Canaan and Darien CT JCRC, and worked for the Anti-Defamation League in its Center on Extremism and New York Regional Office.
