Michelle Labgold

Chief Planning Officer, Greater Miami Jewish Federation

Michelle Labgold is the Chief Planning Officer of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation (GMJF), where she leads efforts to strengthen the fabric of Jewish life across Greater Miami. In this role, she guides strategic initiatives that address community needs, foster collaboration among local partners, and ensure that communal resources are invested where they can make the greatest impact. With more than 30 years of experience in Jewish communal and human services, Michelle has dedicated her career to building resilient, compassionate, and connected communities. Her work bridges data-driven planning with a deep commitment to people—ensuring that every initiative supports the dignity, safety, and well-being of individuals and families. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration. Before joining GMJF, Michelle served as Senior Director of Domestic Affairs at the Jewish Federations of North America, Director of the Westside Jewish Community Center in Los Angeles, and Administrator of the Jewish Home for the Aging in Los Angeles. Across these roles, she has been recognized for creating innovative partnerships and sustainable models of service delivery. Michelle’s impact extends beyond her professional responsibilities. She serves on the Miami-Dade County Emergency Food & Shelter Program, is an active member of Miami JPRO, and is an alumna of the Mandel Executive Leadership Program. She finds her greatest inspiration in her family—her wife, Tracey, and their five teenagers—who continually remind her of the power of community, connection, and shared purpose.
