Director, Educational Tax Credit Programs, Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia - Foundation for Jewish Day Schools

Ellen’s professional experience has focused on running large-scale non-profit programs, including child welfare, and fundraising initiatives. Since 2013, she has served as the first Director of Educational Tax Credit Programs at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, where she oversees the Foundation for Jewish Day Schools (FJDS). Established in 2001 by the Federation and regional Jewish day schools, FJDS, a 501(c)(3), ensures local schools receive funds through Pennsylvania’s educational tax credit programs. During her tenure, Ellen has facilitated more than $140 million in support of Jewish education in Philadelphia, strengthening the future for students, schools, and our community.
