
Yadin Kaufmann
Founder & Chairman, A Good Option / Tmura

Yadin is a long-time venture capitalist and social entrepreneur in Israel. He co-founded Veritas Venture Partners (1990) and Tmura – The Israeli Public Service Venture Fund (2002). In 2024, Yadin founded and is Chairman of A Good Option, Inc., which seeks to support US Jewish and Israeli non-profits (among others) by soliciting donations of equity from US start-up companies and their key employees and investors.
To help create a Palestinian start-up ecosystem, Yadin co-founded Sadara Ventures (2011), The Palestinian Internship Program (PIP) (2014), and The Palestinian Mentorship Program (PMP) (2020). He also initiated an effort to help finance partnerships between Palestinian tech companies and companies in the US and Israel, which helped lead the US Congress to pass the Middle East Partnership for Peace Act (MEPPA) in 2020.
Yadin served as a law clerk to Justice Barak on the Supreme Court of Israel and is a member of the NY and Israel bars. He received the Israel High-Tech Award from the Israel Venture Association for his contribution to community service through his work with Tmura.
Yadin received his B.A. from Princeton, M.A. from Harvard, and J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Law Review. He spoke at TEDx in Rome. His article, “Start-Up Palestine: How to Spark a West Bank Tech Boom,” appeared in Foreign Affairs (July/Aug. 2017). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) since 2019 and of the Board of Governors of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem since 2023.
