Esther D. Kustanowitz is a Los Angeles-based writer, blogger, consultant and Jewish communal professional who lives in the nexus between popular culture and Jewish engagement. Her observations and humor have earned her places on JTA lists of Top Jewish Twitter users, and awards from Jewcy.com with titles like “Person Who Seems to Know Every Jew in the Universe” and  "Jewish Engagement Superstar." Most recently, she was named a Jewish Social Media Influencer by the National Jewish Outreach Program, a great honor despite the fact that the title was not accompanied by the gift of a company car. She works part-time with the NextGen Engagement Initiative at the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, and serves as a consultant for the ROI Community, a global network of young Jewish innovators. She has been called "the Jewish Tina Fey" by at least one person who is not a blood relation, and it is only a matter of time until she gets scooped up and corrupted by Hollywood.
