Join fellow young leaders from the Ben Gurion Society for a day of exploration and empowerment in the Federation world. Start with an intimate discussion with Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, then take a virtual tour of the world through the eyes of Federation. Learn how our global partners are making a difference in more than 70 countries, and find out how your contributions are changing the future of the Jewish People. Get in the driver’s seat for an interactive workshop that will prepare you to steer your Federation dollars in the right direction when you return home.

Gather and learn as an endowment community to increase the impact of our work. Keynote speaker Shawn Landres, founder of Jumpstart, will discuss the new study "Connected to Give: Jewish Legacies," examining why we’re missing opportunities in planned giving and how we can change these patterns. We'll also touch on Washington tax and legislative updates, donor-advised fund management and development, and multi-generational family philanthropy.

Jewish communities are shifting their culture to ensure they recognize, appreciate and invite individuals with disabilities and their families into the mosaic that is Judaism.  This shift is making communities intrinsically inclusive by ensuring accessibility to institutions, accepting the role each individual plays in the community, adapting programming to accommodate all abilities, welcoming everyone with respect and dignity, and celebrating diversity while creating a sense of unity.  This session will explore why Federations should lead this culture shift and focus on inclusion now, and how they can meaningfully do so.
