This mission has it all: Hikes through northern nature preserves and visits to spice markets and wineries, ancient historical sites and hi-tech start-ups. Encounters with cutting-edge artists, new immigrants and Israelis from all walks of life. Opportunities to learn about coexistence initiatives, and a magical Shabbat in Jerusalem. And it culminates at the GA, the Jewish community’s signature annual event.
Jewish Federation communities from across North America will come together in November for a pre-GA national mission to Israel. Be a part of it — you’ll experience Israel in a new way, forge a special connection to the land and people, and gain a deeper understanding of the important work of Federation.
At GA Israel 2013, North American Jews and Israelis will come together to redefine and enhance our partnership. Together we will strengthen Israel to navigate the challenges of today and prepare for tomorrow. Be there to hear top speakers, gain new perspectives on Israel, and participate in challenging conversations about Federations and the global Jewish community.
In addition to this national mission, Jewish communities from across North America are organizing them as well. Please check the list of local Jewish Federation pre-GA missions to see if there is one from your community.
The land cost for the mission is $3,000 (based on double occupancy) and includes GA registration.
