About JFNA

At JFNA, we fulfill a global Jewish responsibility to respond to the most vulnerable members of our community. With the help of our global partners, Jewish Federations address the basic needs of the poor, enhance education for at-risk groups and aid immigration to Israel. JFNA works on many important initiatives to help care for people in need in North America, and defend Israel’s reputation stateside.

JFNA provides critical support and resources for Jewish Federations in branding and marketing, philanthropic efforts, leadership development, programming, strategic planning and more. JFNA helps Federations raise money, engage existing and new donors, operate more effectively, recruit and develop talent, and build an enduring Jewish community at home and overseas.

JFNA convenes the Jewish community to set priorities, take action and address challenges. Through collaboration with Jewish Federations and Network communities, JFNA provides thought leadership around the issues and opportunities facing our people.

To find out more about JFNA and how we help ensure that Jewish Federations are your smart choice for effective and meaningful Jewish giving, please visit our Annual Report, which includes highlights of our global efforts, our partnerships, and our leadership.

Among our other key events are the International Lion of Judah Conference, a gathering of the world’s most passionate, philanthropic Jewish women, and TribeFest, where over 1,500 Jewish young adults (ages 22-45) from across North America connect, explore and celebrate.

JFNA also encourages you to consider taking part in Jewish Federation missions, which are travel experiences unlike any other. Join us as we explore the past, present and future of the Jewish people in locations as diverse as Israel, Russia and other Eastern European countries, and Latin America.
